Summary:Since October 2006 an ECR ion source is under operation at SOREQ. The source will be used to generate protons and deuterons in a current range from 0.04 to 5 mA. The paper will present operation results as current, emittance and stability measurements. Further the influence of variables as solenoid fields, RF power and gas flow will be described. A short description of the attached beam transport system and beam diagnostic system will be given as well.
