description Trust model is fundamental for information security in distributed networks. Based on the outstanding characteristics of cloud model on processing transformation between a qualitative concept and a set of quantitative numerical values, we present a formalized method for subjective trust evaluation using cloud model. This paper had exploited uncertainty and fuzziness characters which are always be considered as two internal properties of subjective trust and made a step into the direction of properly understanding and defining human trust. The qualitative reasoning mechanisms are also given to accomplish trust evaluation.
