Summary: | A square ring dual-band filter with adjustable second-passband is presented for dual-band applications at 2.4 GHz and 4.5 GHz. The first resonance frequency is decided by the perimeter of the square ring and the second frequency by both the ring and the open stubs. The filter's current and the influence of the location and size of stubs to the filter's performance is analyzed and simulated. A prototype based on the proposed topology is fabricated for validating the design and the measured results are in agreement with the theoretical predictions. |
