Summary: | In a previous paper (see IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, June 2007), we presented a method for evaluating the minimum Q of the element in an infinite active phased array. Specific application of the method was made to the evaluation of the Q of a magnetic current source radiating cylindrical TE z modes. In this paper we extend the analysis to an electric current source radiating cylindrical TM z modes. As a reference, we also derive the Q of a single cylindrical source over a ground plane, since this is not found in the literature. |
