Description
Summary:Disruptive IP technologies have reached critical mass and as a result, the home network is increasingly being affected by ubiquitous computing technologies. Although there are various emerging communication tools available including video and voice conferencing over IP network, the paper provides a mobile video conference solution for the ubiquitous home network. To support service mobility, the SIP and Zigbee sensor technologies are implemented on the proposed home server system. Consequently, when a user move to another location, while the video conference session is established, the nearest home server detects Zigbee signals and locates user of physical location in order to process call forwarding and to maintain the video conference sessions.
