Summary: | Static pressure method and dynamic pressure method were commonly used in pipeline leak detection. Advantages and disadvantages of the two methods were analyzed and a dynamic pressure sensor was designed for long-range oil and gas transmission pipeline. In order to improve its performance, experiments of circuit simulation was carried out on the main part of the sensor. Application experiments show that the dynamic pressure sensor is more suitable for pipeline leak detection on occasion that internal pressure changes rapidly, and contribute to increase positioning accuracy. |
