Experiment of wavelength conversion of spectrum-sliced ASE broadband source using highly nonlinear fibers

We experimentally demonstrate wavelength conversion of spectrum-sliced broadband ASE light source based on hybrid four-wave mixing in a 1-km-long highly nonlinear fiber. The 3-dB conversion bandwidth is measured to be 38 nm.
