Polarization-Independent Integrated Demultiplexer for DWDM 60-GHz Millimeter-Wave-Band Radio-Over-Fiber Systems
We investigate the polarization dependence of an integrated demultiplexer for a dense wavelength-division-multiplexed system that uses an optical-frequency-interleaving technique. In the integrated demultiplexer, a suppression ratio of more than 22 dB against adjacent channels is measured. The integ...

Summary: | We investigate the polarization dependence of an integrated demultiplexer for a dense wavelength-division-multiplexed system that uses an optical-frequency-interleaving technique. In the integrated demultiplexer, a suppression ratio of more than 22 dB against adjacent channels is measured. The integrated demultiplexer presents a polarization dependence of less than 0.1 dB, enabling access points for radio-over-fiber networks truly polarization-independent. |
