Design and performance of shunt tuned filter on the MV side of distribution systems

This paper presents the design, construction and performance of an application of shunt tuned passive filters in the medium-voltage side of a distribution system. The results found are encouraging to solve eventual parallel resonances problems detected in this kind of distribution feeder.
