Summary: | This paper classifies the field-to-transmission line coupling problems in the airplane into two different subsections according to the relationship between the frequency of incident field and the length of transmission line. In the high frequency case, distributed sources are introduced to derive the current response of two-wire transmission lines excited by random electromagnetic field in terms of transmission line theory. Finally to investigate the validity and accuracy of this method, compute the terminal current of specific parameters on the Matlab simulating circumstance, and compare the results with other methods. This proposed method extends the transmission line theory to a new application area, and provides some reference for equipment-level and system-level electromagnetic compatibility design in the airplane. |
