Description
Summary:A new flexible digital platform based on the fixed-pointing DSP has been developed for power electronic systems integration, whose computational power can be easily expanded by floating-point units (FPU) which are configured by a FPGA. Some IP (intellectual property) cores for power electronic applications, coded in VHDL for modularity and portability, have been designed and validated in the digital platform. Software modules commonly used in power electronic applications are packaged in C language with fixed-point format for versatility and computation efficiency. All these IP cores and software modules are verified in real-time applications and can be easily integrated into power electronic systems
