Summary:Strong earthquake inflicts serious damage on buildings and electrical installations. Currently buildings and equipments in many regions of China are designed against the 8 degree earthquake, the object of this paper is to investigate the aseismic capacity of high-voltage electric switch cabinet under 8 degree earthquake by test, the natural vibration character of the prototype is determined by the white noise scan test, and the response spectrum magnitude of seismic exciting wave is modified according to the tested damping ratio and natural frequency measured from the prototype. To make the required seismic response spectrum more accurate, matrix algorithm is adopted in the iteration correction of the systematic response of 4-DOF electro-hydraulic servo control system, so the systematic response spectrum is close to the designed response spectrum. Natural vibration character and seismic response of the prototype are also analyzed in this paper. The electric characteristics of three-phase main circuit, phase A current transformer are monitored and the tension stress of key parts of the prototype are measured simultaneously in the earthquake simulation. The research will contribute a lot to the design and manufacture of the high-voltage electric switch cabinet.
