Inversion of the logarithmic integral operator defined on several arcs of a circle and its application to diffraction theory
The inversion of the logarithmic integral operator defined on several curves is considered. Formulas for the inverse operator and its action on trigonometric functions are obtained. The results are applied to a problem of diffraction by a conducting cylinder with longitudinal slots.
