Description
Summary:The present work deals with input ensembles including Gaussian squeezed states, for which one expects, in general, the constraint on classical schemes to become more and more severe as the degree of squeezing is increased. This study finds its motivation in recent and ongoing experimental attempts to teleport and store squeezed quantum states. The focus of the present paper will be Gaussian input ensembles with a fixed degree of squeezing s, (s being the factor by which the variance of one of the two canonical quadratures is reduced with respect to the vacuum level). Furthermore, we present a numerical technique that first reduces the problem to a finite dimensional setting with rigorous error bounds, and then allows for the numerical solution of the remaining finite dimensional problem using semi-definite programming.
