Summary:In this paper, we deal with the problem of delay-range-dependent robust Hinfin filtering for uncertain linear systems with time-varying delays in a range, which are subject to norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Both the state dynamics and measurement of the system are with time-varying delays belonging to a given range. The aim of this problem is to design a full-order linear filter, such that for all admissible uncertainties, the filtering error system is robustly asymptotically stable with a prescribed Hinfin disturbance attenuation level. Novel delay-range-dependent sufficient conditions for the solvability of this Hinfin filtering problem are obtained based on new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the consideration of range of the time-delay. The desired filter can be constructed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. An illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method.
