3-antenna Height-Scanning-Average method of EMI antenna calibration

In this paper, height-scanning-average(HSA) which calculates an average of the antenna factors depending on a height above the ground is introduced, which measures the free space antenna factors of EMI dipole antenna. Its uncertainty is also analyzed. The values measured by HSA are checked with the...

Description
Summary:In this paper, height-scanning-average(HSA) which calculates an average of the antenna factors depending on a height above the ground is introduced, which measures the free space antenna factors of EMI dipole antenna. Its uncertainty is also analyzed. The values measured by HSA are checked with the curve fitting method, a kind of standard antenna method developed by National Institute of Information and Communications Technology of Japan. It is shown that there are good agreements on the results calibrated by both methods.
