Summary:A new type of high-power electronic device - gyroton on the basis of corrugated resonator is described. In this device spatial bunching of an electron beam does not occur; however, highly efficient conversion of power of an electron beam into power of a rotating electromagnetic field is possible. The electron beam entering the device is linear; due to its initial deviation from the axis by slowing of TM 11 wave, it than returns its longitudinal energy to the same wave with the efficiency of more than 88%.
