Summary: | While the form in which quality of services are proportioned to the set networks has been studied for quite some time, the problem of proportioning QoS to mobile networks presents a challenge that is now starting to be considered. The supply and up keep of QoS in the mobile environment presents some specific problems such as roaming, handoff, change of IP address. A support system is necessary for QoS, without it an access network cannot adequately proportion a large variety of services. The idea is to develop a wireless access network based in IP and taking into account the supply of QoS in mobile environments with the maximum flexibility, efficiency and levels of service. An important aspect of interaction between protocols of QoS and those of a mobile nature is to propose a network architecture that can guarantee a working harmony of the mechanisms in the access network QoS with the external networks in a simple and flexible format to supply QoS to the network. |
