Summary: | Sufficient conditions for well posedness and reliability of finite element approximations of time-harmonic electromagnetic problems involving bianisotropic materials are considered. Under these conditions, finite element simulators are known to be able to reliably approximate the solution of many radiation, scattering or guided wave problems of practical interest involving bianisotropic materials and, for this reason, the results provided can be used to validate other electromagnetic simulators in the presence of bianisotropic media significant for applications. |
