Summary: | An embedded filtering-antenna which is composed of an embedded filter and horn antenna working at millimeter-wave is proposed in this paper. Each device of filter and antenna, independently, is designed with metallic via fences and H-plane sectoral horn employing dielectric lens. It is shown that the radiation pattern obtained from three-layered dielectric lens is nearly the same as that of the conventional pyramidal horn antenna. In addition, the design procedures and electrical performances are described briefly and verified using commercially available software and measured result. |
