Description
Summary:This paper presents the co-firing behavior and interfacial structure of Ni-Zn-Cu ferrite / Al 2 O 3 -SiO 2 -B 2 O 3 glass-ceramic composites. The effective multilayer structure are proposed to prevent the camber and crack problem due to different shrinkage behavior and thermal expansion coefficient difference during sintering process. Bi 2 O 3 is not only a sintering aid to reduce sintering temperature of Ni-Zn-Cu ferrite but also diffuse into Al 2 O 3 -SiO 2 -B 2 O 3 glass-ceramic to form a stronger bonding at interface after sintering.
