The monopole antenna proposed shows a very wide impedance bandwidth of about 10.24 GHz (about 1.36~11.6 GHz, bandwidth ratio about 8.53÷1), the proposed antenna has properties of simple structure, ultrawide-band, easier to feed and low cross-polarization level, which make it very promising for application in the UWB systems.
