Description
Summary:With many current scientific studies pointing to global warming and climate changes caused by greenhouse gases, there is an ever increasing societal push for renewable environmentally friendly green technologies to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions resulting from fossil fuel consumption. Government policy plays a key role in the development and wide-scale implementation of green technology. Many research and industry groups are pursuing research in alternative green energy sources and production. A survey of renewable and green technologies is conducted in this paper; from this survey, it is apparent that much more research, education, and continued support are needed to further promote and improve existing and new renewable technologies to meet the goals and emission standards set by international agreements and governments.
