Impact of ROADM in-band crosstalk on 40G DPSK signals

Transmission penalties of ROADM isolation functions in high capacity systems are quantified using a weighted crosstalk. Excellent correlation between the weighted crosstalk and the OSNR penalty of 40 G DPSK is found in diverse crosstalk scenarios.
