Summary:At the present time, biometrics is increasingly gaining popularity in security related applications. Biometrics measure individual's unique physical or behavioral characteristic to recognize or authenticate their identity and using this technology is far better than any other technology. Recently, several biometric remote user authentication schemes with smart card were proposed, but they save biometric template or information into local smart card and authenticate it in local side. In this paper, we proposed a new fuzzy biometric remote user authentication scheme which don't need to store biometric information in user side and is real fuzzy authentication by sending protected biometric information over insure internet.
