Solving dielectric and plasmonic dispersion equations on a pocket calculator
We present an accurate analytical technique for rapid and automated design of multilayer-waveguide-based nano-optical devices. The method allows arbitrary-precision mode-index calculations for dielectric and plasmonic waveguides, and can be implemented on a pocket calculator.
