Synthesis and Photocatalytic Application of Hierarchical Macroporous TiO2 with Mesocellular Foam Structure Using Eggshell Membrane as Template
Macroporous TiO 2 with mesocellular foam structure was prepared using eggshell membrane as a single template. The as-synthesized catalyst was characterized by N 2 adsorption-desorption analysis, X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. The results indicate that...

description | Macroporous TiO 2 with mesocellular foam structure was prepared using eggshell membrane as a single template. The as-synthesized catalyst was characterized by N 2 adsorption-desorption analysis, X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. The results indicate that hierarchical porous structure exists in the as-synthesized TiO 2 membrane. The mesocellular foam is composed of cell with diameter of about 20 nm and smaller window with diameter of 9 nm. It has been found that the macroporous structure of TiO 2 obtained from eggshell membrane plays an important role in the photocatalytic performance. |
