Description
Summary:The desulfurization ash from two different coal fired power plants in Xuzhou were studied in four aspects including the granularity distribution, microstructure, contents of heavy metals and chemical composition in this paper. The results showed that the similar granularity distribution was seen in the two power plants, and the content of granule under 20 μm was more than 98%; but the particle morphology had distinct differences in the two plants, plant A had more spherical particles, while plant B had more irregular particles; the contents of heavy metals tested were all above 1 μg/g except Cd, Mn had the highest content that was 367.10 μg/g, most of the heavy metals tested were reliable to enrich in fly ash; and the primary chemical components of the particulate matter from the coal fired power plants were SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , Fe 2 O 3 and CaO.
