description Integrating healthcare enterprise is one of hotspots in the present medical field. In the article, based on analysis of current status of medical information, a novel integration model is constructed where multi-agent technology and XML are introduced to medical information resource integration, called HIIS-MA, which is a multi-agent model, including user agent, management agent, integration agent and data agent. For each agent, detail arithmetic is designed. Accordingly, the multi-level and multi-role integration of heterogeneous medical information is realized.
