Nonlinear tolerance of ultra-densely spaced 100Gb/s coherent PDM-QPSK channels
We investigate the impact of tight filtering and WDM crosstalk on the performance of 100Gb/s coherent PDM-QPSK over a terrestrial transmission link. We show that packing 100G PDM-QPSK channels into a 33GHz-grid yields moderate penalties compared to a standard 50GHz-grid.
