Summary: | Based on Life-cycle Theory, there are five stages in a life cycle for food safety emergency: Sprout, Growth, Breakout, Appeasement and Restoration. This paper is devoted to discuss methods for classifying each stage and evaluating the risk in each stage. To put the methods into practice, we analyze the evolutional process of Sanlu milk powder incident. In this case, the losses and the degree of risks in each stage are estimated so as to evaluate the losses and risks for the whole food safety crisis. |
