Description
Summary:We study the coding for nonbinary sources with side information at the decoder. The use of binary linear code and the associated decoding scheme is proposed, with a special emphasis on low-density parity-check codes. With iterative decoding based on the constraint due to the encoding structure, reasonably good performance is achieved when compared with Slepian-Wolf limit.
