Summary: | Pulsed anti-riots water cannon is one kind of non-lethal weapon which have been used extensively throughout the world. In order to reduce the use of irritants, water and improve its atomization effect, a new type of anti-riots water cannon suppose to be designed, which use the high-pressure gas to drive the mixture of water and irritants to dispel large group of people in long distance. The mathematic model of the inner field of the launch pipe was established, which can used to calculate the pressure, velocity in pipe. Fluent software was used to simulate the inner flow field, the exit plane velocity curve and pressure comparison curve were gained, pressure theoretic value and simulation value were compared, both of them match well with each other. 3-D gas-liquid interface evolvement diagram with and without gravitation were obtained. Finally, water-jet high-speed photograph experiment was done, shape change of water-jet was analyzed. |
