Summary: | We analyzed the piezoelectric characteristics of inkjet printing system for electronics printing. The applications that were used were Actuator, MEMS, FPCB, RFID, Solar cell and LCD color filter, etc. Piezoelectric print head fires and controls ink droplet with consideration to ink viscosity properties. At this time, it was possible to print micro pattern on PCB metal by droplet control of piezoelectric driving. These driving characteristics were variable voltage pulse waveforms. For this analysis, we used the piezoelectric analysis software of Finite Element Method (FEM). Piezoelectric design parameters were acquired from piezoelectric analysis and measurement of piezoelectric. The piezoelectric head is designed to print the electric pattern of inkjet printing system. The results were confirmed and established through the comparison with simulation and measurement. Designed piezoelectric specification were obtained at voltage 98V, firing frequency 10 kHz, resolution 360dpi, drop volume 20pl, nozzle pitch 0.33mm and 256 nozzles. |
