Description
Summary:This paper attempts to present a novel low-cost testing method for the measurement of band-pass filter testing. The study directs our attention to reduce the cost of test using a simple circuit such as a down-convertor mixer. The band-pass filter is tested by inputting the five critical frequency points. And then the five data which the high frequency had been converted down to 20MHz were collected in order to get the differences from another testing sample using the same method. In order to verify the accuracy of the test, VNA is assisted to measure those testing samples, and then finding the differences from them. If the two measured difference, one is from the proposed method and another is from VNA, are close or even the same, it can not only verify the proposed method, but also the goodness of the band-pass filter would be selected.
