Description
Summary:The electromagnetic field distribution in three-dimensional configurations has been investigated using the "Weak Form of the Conjugate Gradient FFT Method". Numerical results have been obtained for various test cases: Case 1: A lossless homogeneous sphere; Case 2: A radially layered sphere with fat and muscle; Case 3: A realistic model of human body: the "Mr. Jaap Phantom" (based on a whole body MR I scan); Case 4: A homogeneous, elliptically shaped phantom (for comparison with extended experimental data). A comparison of the numerical results with analytical solutions (case 1 and 2) shows good agreement.
