Summary: | The paper has studied the result of degradation of organics and decolorization in the wastewater from pen making workshop that was treated by internal electrolysis and subsequent SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor). The optimal conditions of internal electrolysis-SBR are: the influent pH was 6, the hydraulic retention time (HRT) 20min during the internal electrolysis, then pH was changed to 7 and HRT 6h in the SBR, the removal efficiency of COD reached about 60%; the decolorization rate reached 40%, 60%, 70% under 431nm, 550nm and 650nm absorption wavelength, respectively. |
