Experimental study of polarization-switched-QPSK subcarrier modulation and iterative demapping on optical OFDM systems
We demonstrate application of polarization-switched-QPSK subcarrier modulation together with soft-FEC LDPC coding and iterative demapping on OFDM lab system. 4.5dB OSNR-sensitivity improvement versus conventional polarization-multiplex is achieved.
