Description
Summary:Summary form only given, as follows. Through the use of a high-voltage, low-inductance water transfer capacitor, the overall efficiency of an inductive energy store system is nearly doubled, while simultaneously the output waveform driving an opening switch in order to fully utilize the available efficiency. In this specific context of impact on system performance, experiments have been performed to optimize operation of a plasma opening switch into e-beam diode loads.
