Description
Summary:We present experimental results on the first computer-generated waveguide hologram based on an InGaAsP-InP waveguide for 1550-nm optical wavelength. The potential of waveguide holograms as optical interfaces at fiber optical communication wavelengths is demonstrated by the successful operation of a waveguide-to-free-space fan-out element producing a 4/spl times/4 spot array.
