Relationships between control parameters and outputs in the two mass model of vocal cords

We present numerical simulations performed with a two-mass model of the vocal folds. We use the model to compute the fundamental frequency, the duty ratio and the intensity of volume velocity as a function of two control parameters: sub-glottal pressure and vocal cords tension. Our results contribut...

Description
Summary:We present numerical simulations performed with a two-mass model of the vocal folds. We use the model to compute the fundamental frequency, the duty ratio and the intensity of volume velocity as a function of two control parameters: sub-glottal pressure and vocal cords tension. Our results contribute to a better characterization of a now classic vocal-fold model.
