Description
Summary:This paper proposes a location-aware asynchronous message delivery (AMD) for in-door wireless sensor network environment consists of mobile and stationary nodes. In order to realize the proposed concept, we design the Location-ID eXchange (LIDx) protocol as a location-tracking technique using the static location information of stationary nodes, and the AMD middleware to maintain the location of all of mobile nodes and dispatches messages from source mobile nodes to destination mobile nodes. The real-time location information of a destination mobile node is always monitored by the server so the source mobile node simply sends the message to the AMD middleware in the server then the AMD middleware looks up the current location of destination node and dispatches it to a stationary node which the destination mobile node located. The performance of AMD was tested by adopting it into an indoor building management sensor network infrastructure.
