Summary:Dynamical process was presented on the basis of the two-film theory, at the same time, mass transfer model was deduced for the wet flue gas desulfurization(WFGD) with limestone, and the relation between the conversion ratio of calcium carbonate(CaCO 3 ) and reaction time is set up. It is convenient for improving the residence time in the desulfurization absorption tower in order to increase desulfurization efficiency and absorbent utilization ratio effectively. The calculation result of this model can be good agreement with experiment. Based on the wet desulfurization technology, this will offer the theoretical foundation for the practical application of desulfurization system with limestone. Meanwhile, it is proposed that hydromechanical performance study should be especially strengthened in the absorption tower in the future.
