Summary:In this research, two dimensional front and back digital camera photos are chose as objects, photos are processed by using image processing software PHOTOSHOP so that contrast of human body and background can reach the identifiable range of MATLAB. In MATLAB, automatic extraction program of human dimensions can translate into a COM file that can be called in VB.NET so as to realize auto-extraction of human dimensions from two dimensional images under the VB programming language by setting the environment variable. Non-contact automatic measurement of human body is realized in this paper which contributes to the development of human body measurement technology and provides basis and help for establishment of pattern auto-generation system and development of CAD/CAM technology.
