Summary: | As the study of hybrid power further developed, people start to pay attention to braking energy regeneration, which has never been made fully use for a long time. This paper studied braking energy regeneration of excavator slewing mechanism. The slewing mechanism is driven by ISG, and ultra-capacity is used as electrical power source. Referring to the model of ISG and ultra-capacity provided in the software ADVISOR, the slewing system model was built based on Matlab/Simulink, and then the process was simulated on energy regeneration. At last, this work compared energy consumption and SOC of the ultra-capacity between the two slewing systems with and without braking energy regeneration. The simulation result shows that braking energy regenerating system can drastically decrease the energy consumption. |
