Summary:On behalf of the Organizing Committee of both events of 2011 International Conference on Business, Engineering and Industrial Applications (ICBEIA 2011) as well as the International Symposium on Humanities, Science and Engineering Research (SHUSER 2011), it gives the General Chair great pleasure in welcoming all delegates to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event is held from 6 to 7 June 2011 at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Malaysia. The event is organized by the Institute of Business Excellence and Research Management Institute, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. It is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Malaysia, the IEEE Malaysia Power Electronics (PEL)/Industrial Electronics (IE)/ Industrial Applications (IA) Joint Chapter. The occasion creates a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners on the varied disciplines and its associated applications. In line with IEEE's vision of Advancing Technology for Humanity beyond traditional boundaries, various tracks on Humanities, Finance and Business applications has been introduced creating a truly interdisciplinary network environment.
