description Based on the problems of IPv4 network, advantages of IPv6 network and limitations of traditional transition mechanisms from IPv4 to IPv6, this research start with extend IPv4 protocol package header, and propose a method for unrestrained communication between IPv4 hosts and IPv6 hosts without changing IPv4 network infrastructure and protocol. Then, combine with the traditional tunneling mechanism to display the mutual fusion scheme of IPv4 and IPv6. Its purpose is to make the IPv6 network has a faster development and become more popular so that solve the problem of IPv4 address is not enough. Therefore it can enhance the process of transition from IPv4 network to IPv6 network.
