Description
Summary:Hydro-viscous winch is designed as a novel hoisting equipment based on original inclined mine hoisting winch and it overcomes the original winch shortcomings of low degree of automation. In order to research the starting performance of the winch, a simulation model was established in AMESim and the simulation results under the two start-up conditions, load on horizontal and load on slope, were analyzed. The results showed that the demand value of the input voltage is small if the hydro-viscous winch startup in the first condition; the practical output torque of the hydro-viscous brake initially changed following its response curve, but it had a sudden decrease at some time; it required a greater input voltage value if the winch startup in the second condition and the higher input voltage value may cause intense vibration for the system. The results of the simulation suggest that the start-up conditions greatly impact the winch starting performance. Therefore, the start-up conditions must be considerd during making the control strategy.
