Summary:Because of the complex cultural context of the heritage, there had been few design case studies of the social interfaces for cultural heritage exhibitions. This study extends from the recent studies of social interaction, social media and social immersive media. It aims to design and validate prototypes of social interface based on a design case study of the digital shadow play exhibited in museums, which, in turn to recommend the design principle and cultural design framework for future study.
