Summary: | In this paper we study a hybrid end-to-end rerouting strategy, called Shared Robust Rerouting (ShRR). This strategy can be seen as a combination of some other restoration strategies, namely path diversity, end-to-end rerouting with stub release and global rerouting. Computational results for three network instances provide a comparison of the proposed rerouting strategies and conventional end-to-end rerouting strategies in terms of overall network cost. |
